Snazzy Snowflakes

Snowflakes are absolutely amazing! Check out the link at the end of my post with pictures of snowflakes.

As I was looking at the pictures of the snowflakes, I got to thinking about how snowflakes and people are alike. First, there are no two snowflakes perfectly identical. The same goes with people. Snowflakes can float oh so gently to the earth or join up with other snowflakes and have a party all the way to the ground! Again, same goes with people. There are those who just float along in life content with being alone. Then, there are those who love being around others and find comfort in groups.Snowflakes all have six sides. People can have different sides, depending on the situation.

I would like to think of myself as the kind of snowflake that joins up with other snowflakes and just enjoys the trip. I'm not a big fan of being alone, although there are times when I do enjoy just floating along in life all by myself. While I try to be the same "me" all the time, I will say there are sides of me that are not exactly pretty. Just like a snowflake, that is what makes me unique.

Snowflakes have a beginning and an ending. People have a beginning and an ending. I have heard expressions from kids when it is snowing such as, "Wow....ooooh.....awwwww....beautiful....etc." I hope at my ending, I will be able to look back on my journey and say, "Wow.....ooooh....awww.....beautiful!"

Stay warm. Be safe. Be the best snowflake you can be!
